This is a custom spray tan where your background, hair color, eye color, natural undertones and even how well you tan or burn naturally in the sun will help determine the best solution for you. Aviva's line has multiple options that can be custom mixed so you can achieve a perfect flawless tan, as dark or as light as you’d like (and never orange.) Lasts about a week, fading alittle with each shower.
Traditional Full Body Spray Tan /// $50
This is the original formula that requires a minimum of 8 hours to fully develop before your first shower. With 5 darkness levels, and 2 different tones, this solution is expertly mixed to give you the most natural looking sunless tan. Proper pre & post care is essential for optimal results.
Express Full Body Spray Tan /// $60
Using Aviva's Express tanning solution - YOU choose how dark your tan will be based on how long you leave it on for before showering. This is an express "wash-off" tan which means it allows you to rinse off the bronzer much sooner than the original tan. Keep it on for 1-2 hours for a light tan, 2-3 for a medium tan (3 hours is the sweet spot for most) and 4-5 for a rich dark tan. You will rinse off with just water, please keep in mind you will not see the full color development until 12+ hours later.
HOW TO: Get ready for your spray tan...
It is important to come in with squeaky clean, exfoliated skin. This means no lotions, make up, deodorant, perfumes/body sprays. Even when you exfoliate, please avoid those salt or sugar scrubs as they will leave a layer of oil on your skin. Products like this will act as a barrier and could cause the spray tan to develop unevenly. You can wear as much (or as little) as you'd like during the application - keep in mind tan lines. Wear or bring in comfy/baggy dark clothing to wear home, I also usually recommend going home braless if you can swing it to avoid friction and create unwanted tan lines. Please check the forecast before your appointment and come prepared (jacket w/ hood, long pants, umbrella, shoes that cover feet)... if you step outside and raindrops hit your skin it will leave a mark.
Spray Tan After Care: What to do after your appointment
Be prepared to "lay low" after your spray tan appointment. This means no sweating or coming in contact with water (even hold off on washing your hands if possible) and stay in those comfy clothes while your tan develops. I recommend wearing light weight full length lounge pants and an oversized t-shirt/long sleeve if you are sleeping with your tan on. This will help ensure that there will be minimal skin to skin contact while you sleep so don't get any funky spots on your tan. Around the 8-10 hour mark you will be DOUBLE DARK, because you still have the bronzer on your skin AND your tan is fully developed. You should hop in the shower, I recommend a lukewarm (the hotter the water the more it will strip the color off and dry your skin out!) mostly just a water rinse (you can suds up wherever is totally necessary) but no need to scrub your skin. The goal of this first shower is to just rinse off the cosmetic bronzer which gave you the instant tan appearance. You'll see the bronzer rinse away and your tan will be revealed. After you shower its important to apply a moisturizing body lotion all over and do this daily to help your tan last as long as possible and fade seemlessly.
